NOT FORGOTTEN NOR GONE

Still here just been slack. Been sort of busy, working, touristing, playing Wrath of The Lich King, playing with puppies and hanging out with mum.

Montezumas Castle

We adopted Roo, and still have Tazzie the foster. Need to take him back soon or he will never leave, Mum lurves him and would smuggle him back to Oz if she could.
Roo is very sweet and I think we made a good choice.

Lurking With Intent

Taken Mum to Sedona, Jerome,Montezumas castle, Grand Canyon, Meteor Crater, Winslow and all around Flagstaff.
Me and Mum, Watchtower Grand Canyon

Its been fun being the local and it makes you make a effort of go do things.
She can drive herself now so isn't totally trapped at home when I'm working.

Now. Don't Fug It Up

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope the Aussie one is a blast.

OBAMA FTW

Dinner with family watched the results come in....woot!
More talking heads but finally its over. Thank the flying spag monster.
All happy.

THE DECISION SWEEPING THE NATION

Should we adopt this dog?

Roo, and 3 month old Red Cattle dog with ice blue eyes.

In other breaking news, I bought this game second hand, to keep it from impressionable minds and morbid, sick curiosity.

Not even a worthwhile drinking game methinks.

These guys are the reason I can never again eat a banana without feeling like I need a shower afterwards...

Oh yeah, the HORDE and Azeroth are totally Obamafied.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

BE AFRAID

Well, haven't I been a slack little monkey?
Barely said a word about the awesome roadtrip through CA with Mum and Rob though I did put a bunch of pictures up on Flickr.
Check out Mum's blog The Zann Plan, she has been good about it.
I 'm Coz Rose and I endorse this blog.

Everything here is pretty good. Mum is settling in well. We got cable and a TV so we can watch Extreme Pumpkin Carving, Miami Dog Police and endless election stuff. I'm pretty interested in it all, and wish I could vote but I'm also (like the rest of humanity) just wish it was all over...only 5 more days.
Go Obama.

Work is mostly going well, except for a few annoyances which if don't get fixed then I'll have to rethink it. But being a optimist I'm sure it will turn out fine.
I don't feel right about talking about work in specifics, it not professional and is generally asking for grief. Its a small town and would be easy to work out where I'm talking about plus 90% of the time I'm happy with it.
Must stay focused on the puppies....
Speaking of...

We have a new foster puppy, Tazzie, who was found on the side of the highway. He is very cute, small and easy going. I think Mum would take him home if she could. He has perfected to art of snuggling up with her on the lounge while she knits. I'm thinking he will be hard to give back.

It's Halloween today, and I don't have a costume yet.
I do have candy to give up to freeloading rugrats and a skull and purple bat tinsel in the front yard.
Rob carved a spooky pumpkin last night to set the tone.

Jellyfish at the Monterey Aquarium. (the vid I took is on its side, so you have to tilt your head to get the correct angle)
Soooo soothing, I'd love to had a whole wall of these in my house. Perfect excuse to have a hot Jellyfish boy.
